What is a social network exactly?
Can it be a tool?
A tool with a specific purpose and meaning.
A tool to service the many needs of many people.
A tool to service a whole community.
Building relationships is what keeps a community together.
Over lunch, over a drink, over dinner, people get to know each other. People bond. And there is also a bond formed between local businesses and the community in which they rely on.
You have your favorite restaurant for good Italian or sushi. You know where all the great after hours spots are. You’re always on the lookout for what’s hot.
The bond between business owner and customer grows stronger over time. Grows stronger when the customer knows what’s out there and knows the best.
As a distinctive type of business owner, you know that putting more information in the hands of your customers will only benefit you, as you know your product is better than most.
Thirteen Thirty Seven is the embodiment of this synergy. A network of venues in local communities. But not all venues, not all businesses. The community decides what is truly elite and what is passé. And so it goes with Thirteen Thirty Seven.
13-37 is a social network that brings together the finest things in life, with the finest people who are keen to enjoy them. Not just for restaurants, and bars, and clubs, and anything else that could host a few hundred people. Events. Events have the power to bring together communities. To help people to bond with their communities. They provide boundless opportunities.
It is this power of community that 13-37 will tap into to grow. To grow from within the hearts of communities. For it is those that are the most ingrained into their communities, that are the most connected, it is those that make the best community leaders and organizers.
What it means to be an Event Organizer for 13-37
The EO’s are the lifeblood of 13-37. Without them, it just wouldn’t work. The ideal EO will already have relationships with multiple venues in his or her area. Someone with experience organizing and promoting events or parties. Someone able to take some decent photos of events and venues. Someone with enough linguistic skill to be able write up a decent description and review for their venues. Someone willing to be always looking for new venues to sign up, interviewing venue owners and managers, and also finding creative ways to entice new members to sign up. Someone who already has a large following on social networks.
But why? What is the incentive for EO’s to do all this?
As with any healthy relationship, there is a bit of giving, and also a bit of receiving in turn.
Because EO’s are the lifeblood of the 13-37 community, they are entitled to monetary compensation in order to be able to continue to grow and maintain their community. An EO is compensated a portion of the membership fee every time a member uses a ticket at a venue. And because EO’s effectively own any venue they sign up, that means they get paid when any member visits one of their venues. This is where 13-37 differs from other membership models. EO’s are not compensated for signing up members so there is no undue stress to pressure those around you into joining. By focusing on the right kinds of venues and delivering extremely attractive offerings, this allows us to direct our attention on finding and bringing the very best to the community.
What a 13-37 subscription can do for YOU
You have a thick rectangular thing in your hand. Your phablet or maybe even an actual book full of information on all the local restaurants, clubs, and any event that may be going on. You are bombarded with information.
But where to go?
What to choose in this sea of endless possibilities?
Perhaps a shorter list. A more refined list.
Yes. That will do nicely.
And tickets. Tickets that get you into things. Tickets that get you special treatment. Discounts.
Tickets that get you in.
You can’t be expected to give and not get something in return.
That won’t do.
So however much you’d like to commit is how much you get back.
Tickets also get you into special events. 13-37 events with fantastic offerings put together by the EO’s.
Events you wouldn’t want to miss.
Events that you wouldn’t even know about if you weren’t 13-37.
